Your Room Doesn’t Need Full Power All the Time

A typical 10,500 BTU SACC portable AC can draw around 1,300 watts at full power. Traditional fixed-speed ACs mainly adjust fan speed, which usually changes power use by only a few dozen watts. Gasbye Inverter ACs adjust compressor output instead: Turbo Mode runs at about 800–1,300 watts for fast cooling, while Inverter Mode lowers power to about 500–800 watts when less cooling is needed.
