I have the artisan tilt and would not recommend. It is noisy, gets very hot, the top is not held firmly down so bounces up and down as it mixes,
It's a great beginner/occasional use mixer that can handle your standard cookies, cakes, etc. Unfortunately it doesn't do well with heavier use ...
