No. A 5.0-star average on a few hundred reviews is informative but easily skewed by incentivized or early reviews, and it should not on its own outrank a product with a slightly lower average across far more reviews. Because this category lacks independent lab testing in the data we have, we lean on review volume and consistency as much as the raw star number.
